Gold Coast Theatre Company celebrates two famous children’s classics and weaves them into a story told by the hilarious professors of a famous English school of sorcery! The ancient professors lecture Potter and all his pals on topics of magic and illusion that introduce those classic tales: Peter and the Wolf and Peter Pan.

Using the virtuoso talents of classically trained mimes, the story of Peter and the Wolf is created entirely out of masks, illusion and imagination; and is performed to the accompaniment of the orchestral music of Sergei Prokovief.

The characters of Peter Pan are written into a story that tells of a much older story- that of the traditional British’Panto’ show. In a cleverly crafted presentation that is a riot of comedy, song and audience participation, the characters teach a thoughtful lesson of childhood, imagination and joy.

The entire show is studded with incredible illusions of mime and magic that leaves the whole audience believing in the message of Peter Pan to “Never Grow Up”!
